“Mariner’s Compass” took second in the People’s Choice competition at the Wallowa Mountain Quilters Guild June 9. It was entered by Laura Burton. A quilt entered by Klista Stienbeck, “Friendship Baskets,” won first. Senior youth winner was Katie Wilber and Junior youth winner was Ella Hillock.
