Well, the first Wine Down Thursday was a dud. Who wants to golf after a mid-morning, all-afternoon thunder storm? Although evening weather calmed and skies cleared, earlier downpours and bouts of hail left the golf course pleasantly unplayable.
But, don’t let the weather fool you. Wine-Down Thursday is planned for the rest of the summer. Hopefully the program will be as successful as last year. Come on down ladies.
There’ll always be someone to golf with. Yummy sandwiches and your drink of choice await you in the clubhouse.
Onward: The Triple Six Golf Tournament is June 16. This is a 2-person team event with a fun format of six holes-scramble, six holes-best ball, and six holes-Chapman. Although registration is past due, check with the clubhouse crew if you have a sudden desire to join in.
